It all began on the fourth floor of Carpenter Hall during their senior year of college. Lorena was studying landscape architecture, while Alex was in architecture school. Occasionally, Alex would go to Lorena’s studio classes to greet his friends and Lorena noticed how friendly and likeable he was, but she was too shy to introduce herself. One evening, after Bible study group, Lorena was walking on campus when she spotted a couple guys skating on campus late at night. One of them was Alex! This moment gave Lorena the courage to finally say hello, and it marked their first introduction. A few weeks later, on November 8th, Alex asked Lorena for her phone number, marking the beginning of their friendship. From late-night studio sessions to spending time together outside of class, their bond grew stronger, and they eventually fell in love. Shortly after graduation, Alex and Lorena began dating, and the rest is history!
