Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly request that you respond by April 26th to help us finalize our wedding plans.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden party cocktail. We're excited to see spring and summer colors, as well as florals. We kindly request avoiding black attire if possible. Our ceremony will be on grass, so please plan your shoes accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive and find a seat between 3:45-3:55 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue? Will there be other transportation available?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue! You can leave your car at the venue overnight, but please plan to pick it up by 10 AM on Monday. We will also have a shuttle available to and from the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express in Sturbridge, though seats might be limited. If you would like to take the shuttle, please be sure to share your interest when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be hotel blocks for guests?

Answer

We have 3 hotel blocks available. You can find more information on the hotel page.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Of course! Please be sure to include this information when you RSVP. There will be no pork products served at the wedding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please enjoy responsibly. There will also be plenty of non-alcoholic options as well.

Question

Why was a recipe card included with my invitation?

Answer

Sharing food has always been a symbol of love in both of our families. We're inviting our guests to contribute a special recipe that we'll compile into a cherished collection that will double as our guest book. Each time we prepare one of these dishes, we'll be reminded of our loved ones who shared in our wedding celebration! We kindly ask that you bring your recipe to the wedding to add to our recipe (guest) book.

Question

Will there be a religious ceremony? What should I expect?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a Jewish ceremony. While parts of the ceremony will be in Hebrew, a majority will be in English. Kippot (also called yarmulke) are head coverings traditionally worn by Jewish men as a sign of respect for God. There will be kippot available for guests at the ceremony. We welcome all guests to wear a kippah during the ceremony if they'd like, but there is no obligation at all. At the end of the ceremony, it is tradition for the groom to stomp on glass, breaking it. When the glass breaks, guests all yell "Mazal Tov!" (congratulations!) in celebration!
