Katie came into Ana's life in 2012 when she and Ana's brother, Valci, started hanging out together "as friends." Incidentally, they would watch marathons of the show Friends at Ana's parents house quite a bit during that time. Of course, no one was fooled and they started dating officially later that year. Katie and Ana became closer and closer over time, and Katie became more like a sister, especially after she and Valci got married in May of 2014. As one of the people that Ana talks to the most, it made perfect sense for Katie to be standing next to Ana as one of her matrons of honor.
Luiza Mouzinho
Matron of Honor
Luiza was one of Ana's first friends when Ana and her family moved to the United States in 2001. They met at a birthday party and bonded over some delicious rice being served. It would be impossible to list or even describe everything that Luiza and Ana have been through together since then, but Luiza has been there, unconditionally, during Ana's toughest and happiest times. She is a sister to Ana, way more so than just a best friend, and as such, must be there to stand next to Ana on her wedding day. Good thing she thought so too!
Chris Cultrera
Best Man
Forged deep in the fires of Mordor, Chris is a combination of Teen Wolf fused with Zac Galifianakis and a red wine reduction. The older brother of Alex, he has been an integral part of Alex's life since the beginning. Chris has been many things to Alex: roommate, coworker, electrician/handyman, and now Best Man.
