Aless and Ryan met as sophomores in AP World History at Gibbs High School. Picture it, Ryan was a popular guy on the swim team, and Aless was a shy dance major. They were in a year-long group project together, but did not form a friendship due to Aless' timid nature at the time. Two years later, fate brought the two back together as Ryan was placed in an extra-curricular dance class, and Aless took an extra-curricular technical theater class. Ryan quickly joined the dance department's production of Romeo and Juliet in which Aless played Juliet and he played Lord Capulet. Yes, he played her father...lol. He also joined The Nutcracker, and that's when his strategy became quite clear- he was determined to win her over! Aless fell for Ryan's humor, patience, and loving spirit, while Ryan fell for Aless' ambition and silly nature. On Halloween 2012, they had their first official "date" and carved pumpkins together on his front porch. For this reason, the fall season holds a loving significance in their relationship and always will. After high school, Aless and Ryan overcame 6 years of long-distance where they made amazing memories through visits to California, South Florida, and New York together. Here they were able to grow as individuals, travel together, and show their true loyalty to one another. The past 3 years in Orlando where they have built a loving home together with their fur baby, Zorro Kendrick, have been amongst the best moments of their lives. In present day, Aless and Ryan still love doing the same things they've always done together including going to the movies, getting dinner at Applebees, bowling, and spending time with their families. Fall is still their favorite season, but they have a feeling 2023 will be the best November yet.
