Question

How is Cabo handling COVID-19?

Answer

Los Cabos has been certified by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) as a Safe Destination, and have already reopened to international tourism. Cabo and the state of Baja are following all CDC guidelines and recommendations for precaution. Masks are required in stores and restaurants (until you are seated.) And all stores, restaurants and hotels are operating at limited capacity (30%). Before entering, you will receive hand sanitizer and a temperature check. They also require you to step on sanitation floor mats at every entrance. The phased reopening of Los Cabos started on June 15th, 2020 with the reopening of hotels, beaches, sportfishing, transportation, restaurants and tours and activities. Hotels are now reopen with new health and hygiene protocols in place, the beaches are open, and more businesses are reopening every day. * Los Cabos COVID-19 Info: https://www.visitloscabos.travel/ * Cabo Azul COVID-19 Info: https://www.caboazulresort.com/safe-stays
