Every love story starts somewhere, and ours began in 2023—on Hinge, of all places. A few exchanged messages turned into plans for a first date at Elicit Brewery in Manchester on July 1st, 2023. What we didn’t expect was how instantly connected we’d feel. As we sat across from each other, laughing over drinks, we discovered something uncanny: we had been in the same places at the same time on more than one occasion. We even shared close mutual friends. Somehow, though, we’d never crossed paths—until that night. It was as if the universe had been gently nudging us toward each other, waiting for the perfect moment to finally bring us together. From that first date, it was clear: this was something different. Something special. Alessandra fell in love with Zach’s kind eyes, his sense of humor, and how easy and natural everything felt. Zach fell in love with the way Alessandra made the world feel softer. Her warm heart, always open and steady, gave him a sense of comfort he hadn’t realized he was missing. Soon after, we became best friends and were inseparable—spending every chance we could together. Some of our favorite moments are the simple ones: time with our families, cozy movie nights, trips to Maine, and exploring new coffee spots and pet stores around Connecticut. On April 12th, 2025, Zach proposed at Columbia Lake. It was a cold and windy day, and the setup he had planned was swept away…literally by the wind—but that didn’t stop him. In that imperfect, magical moment, he asked Alessandra to spend forever with him. And she said yes. Our lives have been filled with laughter, adventures, and the kind of love that only grows stronger with time.
