Tom won my heart with a line about velour tracksuits. I honestly didn't know which boy he was in his photos, because all his photos were group pics. I was delighted when he walked in the restaurant. We bonded over art and design. The rest is history.

When we lived near the lake, we used to take daily morning walks on the water. On the day after Christmas in 2021, Tom dropped down on one knee on one of those walks. A photographer popped out of the bushes and I was stunned... and delighted, of course. Tom's sister, Amelia, was waiting at the apartment with flowers and champagne. It was the best day ever.
