Though our paths first crossed as children in the same congregation, life took us in different directions for many years. After Alee moved away, we lost touch — but Jehovah had other plans. Fifteen years later, in May 2024, Alee’s best friend Karo invited them both to a beach day. Neither of them knew that would be the beginning of something so special. They reconnected like no time had passed and instantly clicked — that day marked the start of a love that’s felt effortless ever since. From movie nights and trying out new restaurants, to beach days with friends and quiet evenings at home, they quickly realized that doing even the simplest things together made life feel brighter. Nico was drawn to Alee’s warm, outgoing nature — the way she fit right into his family like she'd always been there. And Alee fell in love with Nico’s kindness — the way he made her feel safe, seen, and completely cherished. One year after that fateful beach day, Nico proposed to Alee on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. With the same jeweler who designed her mom’s ring more than 25 years earlier, he had a custom ring made just for her — and asked her to marry him surrounded by 14 of our family members, with Alee's best friends watching on FaceTime. It was a moment full of joy, love, and the kind of peace that only comes when you’ve found your person. Now, we’re so excited to start the next chapter of our lives — and we can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you!
