When should I RSVP by?

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. Tuxes and long dresses are welcomed, suit and tie and cocktail dresses are also acceptable. Please, no streetwear.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Other than our younger family members who are part of the bridal party, we have decided to limit kids at our wedding. We love your little ones, but request that you keep them at home unless we have specifically invited your children through your formal invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at both the ceremony and reception locations. If you intend on drinking at the reception and are not staying at the Inn at Great Neck where we have a shuttle, you are able to leave your car at The Mariner Estate overnight at your own risk. Overnight parking is not available at the Merchant Marine Academy.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will have a welcome party at the Yocum Sailing Center at USMMA, Friday night for some light fare for all guests. There will be a bar at the Inn at Great Neck open until 2am after the wedding. Come join us for another drink after the reception!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle available for guests staying at The Inn at Great Neck from the hotel to the ceremony and from the reception. All guests will be able to use the shuttle from the venue back to the Inn at Great Neck. Shuttles Times: Inn at Great Neck to Chapel 2:00pm first boarding 2:30pm second boarding Chapel to Venue 4:15pm first boarding 4:45pm second boarding Venue to Inn at Great Neck 10:05pm first boarding 12:00am last drop off
