A Summer Celebration

We met at our mutual friend's engagement party. We almost decided to not go but thanks to the universe, the faiths, or perfect timing, our paths decided to cross at Tara Rose. We met and our lives changed forever. I remember first saying to you, "I can't wait to tell people we met at an engagement party". and we fell in love... the rest is Happily Ever After.

We went upstate for our first trip together, just us and nature, it was absolutely beautiful. We spent the entire weekend cooking, relaxing and envisioning the life we would have together. He made a promise to me that weekend along with a ring and when we came home, in a spur of the moment that I am forever grateful for, he got on one knee and proposed to me. Just him and I, in the room that would become ours, promising to always love each other, even when life gets in the way. I couldn't wait to spend forever with you, I still can't.
