We had our first date on April 13, 2019, at Tom’s Town and Green Lady Lounge in Kansas City. We met through Bumble and Bumble = the gal messages first 😉 In usual Alesha fashion, she was trying to do too many activities in a single day and we didn’t meet up for our first date until about 11 p.m. However, we’ve been pretty inseparable ever since and haven’t looked back. We began living together about two years ago. Since Carol the pug and Finley the cat also hit it off swimmingly and shortly became the best of pet pals, we’ve been enjoying our happy household. Kellen proposed on September 29, 2022 in the River Market in KC at a lookout over the river at the Town of Kansas Bridge. We were admiring the locks people have added at the end of the bridge. Kellen said, “look at this one,” Alesha asked, “which one?” and Kellen was on a knee behind her with a beautiful ring. Alesha obviously said yes ☺️ Kellen planned a perfect date for the evening - we glazed/painted a beer stein and a coffee mug at River Bluff Brewery before our memorable bridge walk and proposal. Fun Fact: we later learned that Kellen’s sister and brother-in-law got engaged five years earlier on the same date! This is only the beginning! We can’t wait to see each and every one of you and to celebrate together. We appreciate all of you - your kindness, well wishes and your time. ❤️
