They met during training when they first joined the military. Alesha had heart eyes for Mackenzie from the beginning. It wasn't until several years later that their relationship began to develop. Mackenzie's "Frat House" was a waystop between her home in Tampa and unit in Palm Coast. Being friends with everyone in the house she would stay the nights before and after drill. They were nothing more than just friends at the time. When Hurricane Michael came and destroyed Panama City, FL, the National Guard was deployed. It was then that Mackenzie and Alesha were destined to see each other and feelings developed. A short while after Mackenzie wanted to see Bohemian Rhapsody in theaters but not alone. After formally asking Alesha on a date he drove 60 miles to pick her up and showed up with flowers. Nobody believed that Alesha would be going on a date let alone the guy showing up to her house with flowers. The rest is history.
