The dress code is semi-formal. We ask that you wear dress pants and dress shirt, with an optional suit jacket and tie. Alternatively, a cocktail dress, mid-length dress, or an elegant jumpsuit would be appropriate. Please no shorts or jeans.

The ceremony begins at 3:30pm; please arrive between 3:00pm and 3:30pm.
The venue, Eagle's Ledge, has a large free parking lot.
While we do not have any hired transportation to the wedding venue, we will have a bus that will shuttle guests from the venue to The District in Ankeny (where the hotel blocks are) at 9:15pm and 10:15pm. Uber and Lyft are also options but may take time to arrive due to Madrid being a very small town. It is okay to leave vehicles in the venue parking lot overnight.
This decision will be made the morning of the wedding. Our venue has a ceremony option for both. Expect anything for April in Iowa! The reception will be indoors.
Yes, there will be an hour and a half gap between the ceremony and reception for cocktail hour. Guests are welcome to stay at the venue and enjoy the bar and snacks provided, or they are welcome to explore bars in nearby areas. The wedding party will be doing a short bus tour to two locals bars: Nite Hawk Bar and Grill in Slater, IA and Flat Tire Lounge in Madrid, IA. Please meet us there!
