I met JR on a random night out… a night out that almost didn’t happen. I have my sister Jessica to thank for dragging me out, because I definitely didn’t feel like leaving the house that night. Funny how life works. JR and my cousin were mutual friends, and I remember noticing him right away. I asked her, “Who’s that guy driving that black truck?” She laughed and said, “Him? Don’t worry about him, he’s nobody.” LOL Turns out… he was everything. We finally met later that night, and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. JR didn’t just come into my life and love me. He embraced my daughter Saria and loved her like his own, which meant more to me than anything. We met in November 2018, made it official in January 2019, and have been building our life together ever since. It hasn’t always been perfect. We’ve had our share of challenges, moments that tested us, and times that weren’t easy. But through it all, we chose each other. We grew together, learned each other, and found our way back to love every single time. Looking back, it’s hard not to see God’s hand in all of it. How one night, one moment, changed the course of our lives forever. What started as something so simple turned into a love that feels steady, safe, and meant to be. And now, here we are, grateful for every step that brought us to this moment, surrounded by love, family, and getting ready to begin our next chapter together. 🤍
