There will be both Mexican and Italian options for the dinner reception. Since our wedding is on Pi Day, there will be a variety of pies to choose from for dessert!
We will have a gluten free option and an option that is both vegan and gluten free. We cannot guarantee that our catered options will be safe for Celiac Disease. If this is a concern, please reach out to us so we can try to help accommodate. In true Italian and Mexican fashion, we will have many options for our dairy, gluten, and meat enthusiasts!
We will have a beginner salsa dance lesson at the start of our dancing reception. Any one is welcome to join in on the dancing festivities- both beginners and pros! There will also be lots of people in attendance who would love to help show beginners the ropes. We are delighted to share our love of dance with you all!
Nope! While many dancers do choose to wear Latin ballroom shoes, it is not necessary for a beginner lesson/reception. Just wear something comfortable and easy to move in.
We will be having a dry wedding for both health and safety purposes. There will be non-alcoholic options for beverages. Thank you for understanding as we take measures to ensure our wedding remains a family friendly event.
Our ceremony and dinner will be semi-formal. You are more than welcome to change into something more comfortable for the dancing reception so you can move easily. Please no crop tops/exposed midriff.
DJ Sanchito is doing us the honor of being our DJ. Dedicated to the Latin dance community, Gabriel Sanchez hosts and teaches at many events and workshops in the PDX area as well as venturing out to Eugene and Olympia regularly. Salsa on the Rooftop (one of the top events in the salsa community) is one of the many spectacular events that Sanchez puts on for the community.
