I had one thought after our very first date. "Well I'll never see her again." Such is the reaction when one goes in for the first kiss and is met with the dreaded side hug. But lo and behold, she texted me after that night saying she'd like to see me again. The rest, as they say, is history. Through crushing Maryland Terrapins loss after crushing Chicago Bears loss, we stuck together. Like the lint to the lint filter in the dryer that I'm sure she doesn't know how to empty.
