Joey proposed to Alex on a boat, at sunset, while cruising through narrow channels of Amsterdam. There were many witnesses, standing on the bridge, cheering as she said yes. The engagement was recorded from a couple of angles. It allowed both Joey and Alex to be in their element- Joey on the water, and Alex- in her favorite city in the world.

It all started with our friends Carlos and Alexis, who had a costume wedding... Theme: Pirates. We loved it so much! It was one of the best weddings each of us has ever attended. We were not engaged yet but from that moment on we also wanted our guests to feel the same way we felt at their wedding. We want our guests to experience an adventure. Something unique. Something you will remember and hopefully cherish for years to come. We come from two different continents and we are excited to share the adventure of travels with our families and friends. We want us all to meet in the middle- in a beautiful place full of exciting things to do, with amazing fresh food and wine, with rich culture and great weather, reachable for everyone, no matter where you are coming from.
