We're getting married!

We met through a high school friend, even though Ola went to a public coed school and Jeffrey went to a private all-boys school. Jeffrey's group of guy friends started to date some of the girls from Olas' group of girlfriends. One day, a photo of Jeffrey in full tie-dye was posted to one of these girls' social media and Ola reached out saying he was cute! Unfortunately, the girl said she didn't think we would be good together, but Jeffrey's friend Mike thought we would. So Ola handed a letter to him to give to Jeff, and he gave one back with handmade bracelets each other had made for each other. We got each other's social media accounts and began talking. For a week or so we talked and texted. I was impressed by his spray-painting, especially when he spray-painted a Lorax on the construction equipment taking down the forest next to his house. He was infatuated with how upbeat and sweet Ola was. Their first date was at Brookfield zoo because Ola knew he liked lemurs and thought they were there, but sadly, they were at the Lincoln Park zoo. Nonetheless, it was a successful first date! On our second or third date, Ola met Murphy, who rarely showed his belly to anyone, especially not a stranger yet rolled over for Ola, which was when Jeffrey knew this must be the one. That was back in 2017 and now nine years later they are getting married!!!
