Question

What should I wear

Answer

Formal Attire/Cocktail Our wedding is not exclusively black tie, but if you would like to wear black tie please do! Suits and slacks with blazers are welcome as well! Long gowns and/or cocktail dresses are also suggested!

Are kids Invited

Answer

If their names are included in the invitation please bring them! Otherwise, we love your kids, but consider it your night off!

Is there a hotel block

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Super 8 by Wyndham Cobleskill NY. Make sure to call (518) 254-6994 and mention the Wisekal-Papadimitriou Wedding! They will have all the details for you concerning price and room size/availability!

Is there transportation to the ceremony and reception

Answer

Guest will be responsible for transportation to and from the wedding! The great news is the ceremony and reception are at the same location! Please keep in mind that there are no taxis and/or Ubers available near our wedding location. If you are flying in to join us on our special day, we recommend renting a car.

Can I bring a date

Answer

If it says plus one on your invitation then by all means bring your date! If your invitation doesn't specify a plus one, please bring yourself!

How do I choose my meal option

Answer

We hope you like buffet style, because buffet style it will be! Get ready for some country cooking and BBQ food! Don't worry we will have extra napkins for all the messy goodness!

What time should I arrive

Answer

The ceremony starts at 1:30. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get a spot in the church! There will be some chairs for our older guests, but our church does not have pews. Expect to be standing for about an hour for the ceremony. Cocktail/Reception will start right after the ceremony! Just walk on over to the nearby barn and let the celebration begin!

What should I do if I can’t make it

We will miss you! Please let us know by calling Mrs. Mary Wisekal ( mother of the bride) at (914)-329-2007 or by changing the status of your RSVP on this website.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors/outdoors. We will have tents allowing guests to come in and out as they please!

How to RSVP

Answer

Please RSVP by either calling the mother of the bride, Mrs. Mary Wisekal, at (914) 329-2007 or through this website. Just click the RSVP tab. Please RSVP by July 4th, 2020 the latest!

Where are we registered

Answer

We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond! Just use this link: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/giftregistry/registry-search-guest And type in one of our names (Aleksandra Wisekal and Dimitrios Papadimitriou) and voila it should be there!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media

Answer

We want you to enjoy our day! Don't worry about taking your phone out to take pictures! The photographers will make sure to take lots of them! We are providing disposable cameras for our guests to capture special moments! Don't forget to take some snapshots during the celebration!

Please follow the signs for designated parking once you get to the wedding location.

Ceremony Questions

Answer

The ceremony will be a traditional Russian Orthodox wedding with some prayers in Greek. If you have never been to an Orthodox wedding and would like to receive an English version of the ceremony, please contact the bride at (914) 260-3072 or at awisekal@fau.edu We will send you a pamphlet translating the prayers of the ceremony that you may print if you'd like!
