Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for seating.
A Polish wedding is less of a day and more of an endurance event! Expect lots of food, plenty of dancing, and celebrations that continue well into the early hours of the morning.
Absolutely. While we're embracing Polish traditions, our DJs speak English, as do many of our Polish family and friends. Any traditions, games, announcements or activities will be explained in English, so nobody will feel left out. This applies to our Polish family and friends and Scottish activities.
Officially? We have no idea. The DJ is going to be present until 3am.
More than enough. Polish weddings are famous for keeping guests well fed throughout the night. Rather than one meal and an evening buffet, you'll be served multiple hot meals: • Wedding dinner after the ceremony • First supper at 8:00pm • Second supper at 10:00pm • Third supper at midnight There will also be a cold buffet, a traditional Polish village table (Wiejski Stół), and a dessert table available throughout the evening.
At Polish weddings, food is served throughout the night to keep everyone's energy levels up for dancing. Think of them as additional hot meals rather than snacks.
We certainly hope so! Bring comfortable shoes and prepare for a packed dance floor.
No, although a few useful phrases might earn you extra points with the family! Na zdrowie! — Cheers! Dziękuję — Thank you Sto lat! — A traditional celebration song wishing someone a long and happy life.
Pace yourself. With food, drinks and dancing continuing late into the night, the experienced guests know not to peak too early!
