It was July of 2019 in sunny Colorado when a new group of first year medical school students had their first anatomy lab session. The medical school must have known what they were doing, because Sarah and Alek happened to be put in the same group. They ended up spending hours together in lab (Sarah working and Alek providing the comedic relief). Hours in lab turned into hours spent playing frisbee golf and Jackbox during the pandemic. The rest is history!

Sarah has always had a love for wolves, and ever since she was little her dream was to have the chance to see them up close and personal. Alek secretly planned a trip up to her favorite place in Colorado (a wolf rescue of course), and scheduled a private experience where they got to meet the wolves in person. Alek was brave enough to get on one knee in front of Sarah and a gigantic wolf, who luckily did not eat the ring.
