Question

What are the plans for wedding week?

Answer

We’re so excited to have you join us for our destination wedding! We wanted to let you know that aside from our welcome dinner & wedding day, we haven’t scheduled any official plans or events for the week. We really want everyone to enjoy the destination at their own pace, whether that means exploring the local area, relaxing by the beach, or just spending time with loved ones. This is your time to unwind and create your own adventure! Of course, we’ll be around and would love to catch up with you during the week, but we wanted to keep things relaxed and flexible. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you on our big day! If you need inspiration please visit these websites for ideas of what you can do in Sayulita! https://www.villaamor.com.mx/activities https://www.sayulitalife.com

Question

What will the weather in Sayulita be like?

Answer

In Sayulita, Mexico, April brings delightful weather that’s perfect for enjoying the beach and exploring the town. During the day, you can expect warm and sunny conditions with highs typically reaching into the low to mid-80s°F (around 27-29°C). The evenings and nights offer a pleasant contrast, with cooler temperatures dipping into the 60s°F (around 16-20°C), making for comfortable and refreshing nights. This combination of warm days and mild nights creates an ideal atmosphere for both relaxation and adventure.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We are thrilled to have you join us for our destination wedding and are so looking forward to celebrating with you. As we plan our special day, we wanted to let you know that our wedding will be primarily an adults-only event. However, we have made special exceptions for a few children who are closely involved in our lives and the wedding. This was a difficult decision, but we believe it will create the best possible experience for all our guests, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration/vacation without distraction. We understand that this may require some adjustments on your part, and we deeply appreciate your understanding. Your presence means the world to us, and we hope you can join us for this memorable occasion.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation has you + your significant other or says "and guest" then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

Check our travel page for more information! The bride and groom will be staying at Villa Amor. If you would like to stay there we recommend booking under our hotel room block, however other accommodations are available throughout Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. We do recommend you stay within Sayulita for the day of the wedding. We want our guests to have the best time and due to extended travel time and drinks being included at the reception, please consider staying within Sayulita!

Question

Getting Around

Answer

Getting around the village of Sayulita is easy and fun! One of the best ways to explore Sayulita is on foot. The village is small and walkable if you are able, and the many hills, cobblestones and stairs make for a great workout, not to mention some fantastic photo opportunities! Some Sayulita hotels/rentals are up a steep hill, you may have incredible ocean views, but may not want to walk it every day or when you have been shopping or surfing and have additional things to carry. There are a wide variety of options for getting around in Sayulita, such as golf cart rentals or taxis. If you need transportation from the airport, car services with luxury suburbans offer comfort and will even stop on the way to Sayulita so that you may pick up groceries and supplies. There are also taxis, and rental cars available. See Uber/transportation options for more information!

Question

Uber and transportation options

Answer

If you require a shuttle to/from the airport, you can contact the transportation service affiliated with the resort. The email is: transportation@villaamor.com. Cost for these services range from $125-$235 for individual trips or round trip to/from the airport. Options are available to fit 1-6 people. Other options for helping to get around Sayulita, surrounding areas, and to/from the airport are as follows: - Uber/Lyfts are available and are accessible through your apps. However, keep in mind you're in Mexico, so you may have to wait on these services. Taxi's and other services, and are highly accessible at the airport. - inDrive: Some say inDrive is quicker. InDrive is a bargaining system (so it's good to be up-to-speed with your fares to different locations) and you pay cash. Overall, cash is the preferred method of payment. - The local Compostela bus service provides a budget friendly and fun way to travel between Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. The Compostela buses cost 46 pesos and you may easily catch the bus across the highway from the airport. If you want to take a longer trip, there are premium buses to Guadalajara. Sayulita transportation information can be found here.
