We met on a dating app, you might have heard of it. It's called Bumble. We talked for a couple weeks before officially going on a date. Actually, April 16th is when we started talking, so we will be tying the knot 3 years later. Nos conocimos en una aplicación de citas, problabemente hayas escuchado de ella. Se llama Bumble. Hablamos durante un par de semanas antes de ir oficialmente a una cita. En realidad, el 16 de Abril es cuando empezamos a hablar, y nos casaremos 3 años después.

Our first date was at the beginning of Covid, so everything was locked down. We were rebels and decided to go out anyways. We met at a park since it was the only thing opened. What we thought would be a 2-hour date, turned into a 7-hour date! We ended up walking through the park, drove around drinking Starbucks for hours, and ate burgers in Alejandro's car (Covid problems). From there we were pretty much inseparable. Nuestra primera cita fue al comienzo de Covid, por lo que todo estaba cerrado. Fuimos rebeldes y aun asi decidimos salir. Nos reunimos en un parque ya que era lo único abierto. ¡Lo que pensamos que sería una cita de 2 horas, se convirtió en una cita de 7 horas! Terminamos caminando por el parque, manejamos por la ciudad bebiendo Starbucks durante horas y comimos hamburguesas en el auto de Alejandro (Problemas de Covid). A partir de ahí fuimos inseparables.

Fast forward to October 16, 2021. The story above is how Alejandro proposed! He reenacted our first date. He ended the night by walking to the middle of the pedestrian bridge in Lafayette. Where he got down on one knee and popped the big question. Which of course I answered YESSSS! Avance rápido hasta el 16 de octubre de 2021. ¡La siguiente historia es cómo Alejandro me propuso matrimonio! El recreó nuestra primera cita. Terminó la noche caminando hasta el medio del puente peatonal en Lafayette. Donde se arrodilló y planteó la gran pregunta. Lo cual, por supuesto respondí ¡SÍIIII!
