Welcome to our story…

There’s unspoken knowledge that establishes the many ways people fall in love. From “love at first sight” to “lost love”, hundreds of people fall in love everyday and that experience shapes them forever. They say if you try to find love, if you try to get ready for it, you’ll never find it; but rather, love will always find you when you least expect it. Out story starts like any other story. Alex and Jazlyn met at a college party and instantly became best friends. They did most things together: breakfast, school, dinners, movies. It was a best-friendship. However, like life always goes, one fell in love with the other. Rather, they both fell in love with each other, against all intention. That emotional decision led them down an entire new journey. Now fast forward 5 years, and we are in a lifestyle we never believed was possible. We each have a set path on our goals, with Alex becoming a nurse on his way to NP, and Jazlyn going into forensics with hopes to dominate in the field. Plus, having the best creation to ever happen to us, our little boy Dean Alessio Trujillo. On top of all that, still having our best-friendship in the foundation of our relationship makes life together that much better. Knowing we have come so far only motivates and excites us for what we will do in the future. We are so unbelievably blessed to be where we are and want to complete this next milestone with you, our close friends and family, by our side. Each one of you has molded us and shaped our persona one way or another. To say the least, we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you guys, and we would like to personally thank you. Please attend our wedding to celebrate the love and appreciation we have for each other and for you. We certainly can’t wait and hope to see you there!

Alex set the perfect proposal. In San Diego, CA there is a popular park, called Balboa Park. Alex made sure he got all the items and tools he needed to make it exactly as he wanted. He reserved a tour guide to give Alex, Jazlyn, and Dean a tour of the park, letting the tour guide in on the plan to ensure Jazlyn would be at the garden at the exact moment. Alex reserved some professional photographers to follow them around all day and get some candid-perfect photos of the day. He called in one of their good friends, Brooke Barris, to set up the candles, rose petals, light up words, balloons, pictures, and all he had acquired. Alex also made sure Jazlyn’s family would be there, surprising them with the proposal as well. All to get down on one knee and propose to Jazlyn in the most perfect and surprising way. Jazlyn, without a doubt, said “YES”, leading them to this special day they want to spend with all of you!
