Why have we decided to keep the wedding small?

Answer

Since last July when we got engaged there have been some significant events going on in our lives that took our focus away from planning a wedding. Given this we made the decision to keep our party small and make it a little easier on ourselves. This just means we get more time with each one of you!

Why was I not invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Early on in our planning process we came across a company who fully plans and puts on a ceremony in the Okanagan, our only job is to show up looking nice! This company is primarily focused on elopements so limit the number of guests we are able to have present. We hope everyone understands.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Penticton or Naramata. Both areas are close to each other and easily accessible. We are staying in Penticton.

When should we come?

Answer

We will be arriving on Friday the 21st and staying until Monday the 24th. Wedding Day is Sunday the 23rd. Come for as long or as short as you choose to. We want to spend time with friends and family and enjoy what the area has to offer.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We see this as a dressy-casual affair. It will be summer so dress for the heat but our reception will be taking place in the evening where temperatures will cool down as the evening goes on.

What is there to do?

Answer

Check out the 'What We Recommend' section! We will be adding to this as we think of more additions. The Okanagan is nice and bikable if you choose to bring your bike along. The lake is also great during the summer where you can swim, rent kayaks and paddle boards to cool off.

What about a registry?

Answer

Thank you for thinking of us! We do not expect anything from anyone. If you do choose to give we would love to make our honeymoon a little more special with a monetary contribution. We will also be making a small list of items we would like to add to our apartment.

Are the events dog friendly?

Answer

Unfortunately our event venues are not dog friendly.
