When we tell our story to others we always laugh because we find it very interesting how we crossed paths. To keep it short, we met online in 2015 through Facebook, kinda interesting right? Haha. While one of us was studying abroad in Spain, the other was just hitting Facebook DM's lol. Little did we know that we had attended the same high school and were just 2 years apart. We knew a lot of the same people but never knew about each other. We talked night and day with a 9hr time difference for about 3 months until the time came to finally meet in person. We have been inseparable since December 2015 and we always knew we were meant for each other, or as we like to call it-SOULMATES.

This day was truly magical, words can't even describe how perfect everything was. Apparently the proposal had been in the works for a few months which made the day very secretive. I was under the impression that I was attending a picnic at the beach with all of my friends and we were going to have a photo shoot. When I arrived to the beach, Hugo was standing under a beautiful arch with my favorite flowers and a sign that read "It Was Always You". As I made my way down a small hill, I realized not only was I surrounded by my closest family but our closest friends as well. As I walked down towards my future, all I remembered was having flashbacks of every core memory Hugo and I have had together for the past 6 years and happy tears running down my face. As I got closer to Hugo, I realized this was going to be the easiest YES for me. Fast forward to May 27, 2023 I am now saying I DO!
