We first met in 2014, when I started working at Frankie’s Burgers. At the time, we were simply co-workers with an easy friendship—sharing laughs between shifts, exchanging or debating political views during breaks, and occasionally discussing philosophical ideas. Years passed, and life unfolded. But in 2022, something shifted. We decided to explore our connection beyond friendship, and what we found was something deep, joyful, and quietly extraordinary. Francisco is the kind of person who leads with compassion and listens with his whole heart. A true humanist, he practices radical love in quiet, daily ways—and that inspires me constantly. In his words, he loves that I live fully in the moment, that I don’t wait for special occasions to make life feel special. We’ve always loved the outdoors and a good adventure. Whether we are road-tripping to the ocean, hiking at our favorite mountain, swimming at Redfish Lake, or rocking out to our favorite artists at a concert, we feel most at home when we’re out in the world—together. While we come from different stages of life, we’ve found something timeless: a connection built on deep respect, genuine affection, and so much laughter. Nos conocimos en 2014, cuando empecé a trabajar en Frankie's Burgers. En aquel entonces, éramos simplemente compañeros de trabajo con una amistad sencilla: compartíamos risas entre turnos, intercambiábamos o debatíamos opiniones políticas en los descansos y, ocasionalmente, discutíamos ideas filosóficas. Pasaron los años y la vida se desplegó. Pero en 2022, algo cambió. Decidimos explorar nuestra conexión más allá de la amistad, y lo que encontramos fue algo profundo, alegre y discretamente extraordinario. Francisco es el tipo de persona que lidera con compasión y escucha con todo el corazón. Un auténtico humanista, practica el amor radical de forma silenciosa y cotidiana, y eso me inspira constantemente.
