There she was… working as a teller at my local credit union. Every other weekend I would go there to pull money before heading back to work in San Francisco. For some reason, every single time I would step in line, she would place the closed window sign on her section of the teller line. Funny thing is, she would remove it every time I was next to be called up. Coincidence? I think not. It happened way too often to be that. I knew something was up, so I gave finally talked to her and gave her my number and man did she turn red. I thought it was kind of cute. Who would have thought 5 years later, we would be engaged and planning our wedding!
Fernando planned a weekend getaway to Paso Robles and to say I was excited was an understatement. He took me to see an art display that was absolutely beautiful, as the sun set, the lights and vibrate colors came to life. We got to enjoy the view, drink some wine, and listen to live music (my fav). If you know me, you know I'm absolutely oblivious. We began walking and Fernando mentioned how he wanted God to be the center of our relationship. Of course, I made it clear I didn't want to just talk about it, I wanted to take action too! I think that was when he was originally going to ask buttttt I messed it up, nothing new (insert laughing emoji). Then we walked to another section and I saw him speaking to the security guard and that's when it hit me... "Is he about to propose to me?!" 30 minutes later.. I began to think I was wrong. So, we continued walking again. Talking and enjoying each others company, and then he tried putting the phone up so he could take a picture of us with the view, but he kept dropping the phone. Of course, I had to go show him how it was done, but suddenly, he got down on one knee, palms sweaty and full of nerves, and asked me to marry him! I love you Fernando. Thank you for choosing and loving all of me <3
