When and where is the wedding?

The wedding is going to be held on Saturday July 11, 206 in Idyllwild California. Ceremony begins at 5:00pm and reception begins at 6:25pm.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Those who received a plus one on their invitation are allowed a plus one. It is a smaller venue and limited capacity, we are unable to accommodate more than the set guest list.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately kids are not allowed at this event. This will be an adult only event with alcohol being served.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Begin arriving 35-45 minutes before the start time of the ceremony.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Parking is available in the nearby town in Idyllwild. You will have to park your car in town and take a ride service up the street to the address. There is no available parking in front of the venue.

Is there nearby hotel and lodging?

Answer

Idyllwild has various local inns, hotels, airbnbs, and cabins available in the surrounding areas. It is a popular destination spot during the summer time. So we highly recommend booking as soon as possible if you plan to stay the night. Rooms sell out very quickly, as well as prices increase the closer to summer we get.

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

We are in the mountains and going to be at a higher elevation. The weather is going to be sunny temperature expected high 70’s. Since the event will take place during the evening, we expect cooler weather and not high temperatures.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is mountain formal or dressy casual. Mountain formal is elegant formalwear designed for an outdoor, mountain setting-gowns or formal dresses, suits or tuxes, earthy tones, and practical footwear.

Will I have cell service?

Answer

Yes. Our venue provides free wifi to connect to.

Are cellphones allowed?

Answer

Yes, however we are asking during the ceremony that you refrain from taking any photos or videos. This way it doesn’t distract us and allows everyone to be present in the moment with us. Will we have a professional photographer and a videographer to capture the ceremony. You may take any photos and videos during the reception.

Are there seating arrangements for the ceremony?

No, for the ceremony we will just have the first front 2 rows reserved for immediate family members of the bride and groom only. The reception will have set seating arrangements for dinner.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes, we plan to have catering done. An appetizer, entree and dessert will be provided.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes alcohol will be served. There will be a specialty menu of 5 mixed cocktails that adhere to the theme of the wedding. Mocktails, soda, water, beer and champagne will be available as well.
