When Alejandra moved to northern Virginia, she wanted to find a new gym nearby. She stumbled upon Crossfit Route 7, which Max was currently training out of. They both did noon classes and became acquaintances, as both of them were in relationships! A year and a half later, they both were single and hit it off one night after a competition. However, after dating for three months, they decided to take a break and work on themselves. Fast forward another year and a half, they rekindled their romance and the rest is history.

For Max’s 30th birthday, they planned an unforgettable trip to Turcs and Caicos for the end of December. With an overwhelming amount of certainty to make Alejandra his forever woman, Max started to plan his proposal. Being as secretive as possible, Max had the ring set days before takeoff and organized a photographer to be in place for the special moment - December 26th, 2022. The time has come for the proposal. Max asked Alejandra to dress nicely, wear make up, and to walk with him along the beach. Trying his best to make conversation and knowing the moment was near, Max spotted the photographer hiding in the shrubs. He spun Alejandra around so the camera could capture her good side. With trembling words, Max said, “this is one of the biggest questions of my life” and dropped his knee to the ground and asked, “Will you marry me?”. She immediately answered, “Yes!”, with tears in her eyes and a smile from ear to ear.
