Christian and I met in high school, I was in 9th grade and he was in 10th. We had many mutual friends but never really talked to each other. It was homecoming week at school and the dress up day was “cowboys vs city life” or something along those lines. We were both in old cowboy hats, jeans, and flannels. I saw Christian post a picture on his story and told him he looked like his name should be “cowboy Randy” and he told me mine should be “cowgirl Sandy” and the names have stuck since. After that day we didn’t talk at all, we would just see each other in the halls and raise our eyebrows acknowledging each other, but always too scared to say anything. Around February 2021 we started talking every day, long FaceTime calls, and walking to classes together. In March 2021 I friend zoned Christian and wanted no part of a relationship until April 2nd, 2021. Christian invited me to watch him race at 441, and from the moment I laid eyes on that curly headed, redneck, race car driver I never could take them off. On April 9th, 2021 we officially started dating and have been together since. We are so excited to see where this life takes us and can’t wait for this next big adventure together!
