In 2022, Shermin was living in Arizona and Aleena was in New York City when they met on a dating app called 'Dil Mil' at the end of July. Through their interactions, Shermin fell in love with Aleena's passion, thoughtfulness, compassion, trustworthiness, vibrant spirit, warmth, and wittiness. Aleena fell in love with his charm and his heart. She helped him to realize the true meaning of love. Shermin first visited her in The Big Apple in September of 2022, he knew from then that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and they began officially dating in December 2022. Their families met in February of 2023 and they made the decision to begin their life together with a wedding celebration in November 2023. Shermin moved to NYC in May of 2023 to be with Aleena and they have been inseparable ever since.
