If you would like to stay overnight, we recommend booking a room at Hotel Weissenstein. For a booking, call the hotel and tell them you're staying because of the wedding. That will give you 15% off the day rate.
Rates (with the discount):
Since the hotel has got a day rate for the rooms, they cannot predict the rate of one room. Therefore, it is recommended to book the rooms as early as possible.
A standard room for two people is expected to cost at least 200 CHF (including breakfast).
How to get there
Drive by car from Solothurn to the village of Oberdorf, from where you will reach the hotel along the pass road over the Weissenstein Pass. With gradients of up to 22%, the Weissenstein pass road is one of the steepest in Switzerland. There are sufficient parking spaces available right next to the hotel for a fee.
