We met in elementary school, where he expressed his feelings the only way he knew how at the time—by teasing me relentlessly. Years passed, we grew up, and somewhere between growing wiser and kinder, that childhood troublemaker turned into the man who knows me best. What started with playground mischief turned into friendship, love, and eventually a very heartfelt proposal. Proof that people grow, love changes, and sometimes your forever begins much earlier than you think.
