What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. The ceremony will take place outside in the pecan orchard (weather permitting). Ladies, we will be walking in the grass, so choose your shoes accordingly.

What precautions have you taken regarding COVID-19?

Answer

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET VACCINATED. The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception area will be at less than half its full capacity. Dinner will be plated and served. The cocktail hour and dancing area will be outside. Of course, everything will be thoroughly sanitized. You may also request to sit at a table where everyone is vaccinated. To make this request, reach out to us directly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest you plan to arrive at 4:30 p.m., half an hour before the ceremony. Traffic in Houston is hard to predict.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

You are welcome to bring your kids, but please know you will be responsible for taking care of them. We will not have a babysitter present. Children have to be included in our RSVP count for the venue, so please let us know ASAP if you plan to bring them.

Will there be an open bar?

Do I need to rent a car to get around Houston?

Answer

Houston is a car city. Public transportation is seriously limited. But you can easily get around with Uber and Lyft.

May I take home a centerpiece after the reception?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to take home a floral arrangement as a souvenir.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yep! You're welcome to take pictures at the ceremony and reception. We ask that you silence your phone during the ceremony.

Will there be a virtual way to attend the wedding?

Answer

We do not currently have any plans to live stream the wedding. We will share photos and videos after the event.

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

No, the venue doesn't allow pets.

Can I fish in the creek?

Answer

Sorry, fishing is not allowed in the creek.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence truly is present enough. But there will be a gift table for your convenience if you bring a gift to the wedding.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest present we could ask for. We're lucky to already have most of the essential household items. For those who wish to give a gift, we are registered at Bering's.
