Where does the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception take place at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. There will be signage and volunteers to help guide you to the ceremony site as well as the reception in the Manor House. When you arrive, you will be met with a volunteer who will guide you to where to park.

Please RSVP by 8/01/2026 so we can finalize our guest count with the venue and vendors.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking will be available at the venue and hotel free of charge! You are able to leave your car at Stan Hywet overnight, please note that you will not be able to pick up your car till 10am on Sunday when the venue opens back up.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless your child’s name is specifically included on the invitation. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night and celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. For women, this includes cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits—please avoid wearing white. For men, suits or dress pants paired with a button-down shirt or blazer are perfect—please no jeans. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm; guests can start arriving as early as 3:30 pm. Please allow yourself time to park and walk to the ceremony site. There will be a shuttle cart available to transport guests who may need assistance getting around the venue grounds.

Is there a hotel block?

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express Akron Fairlawn NW for our guests. Please visit the Travel page for booking details.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and reception will be inside.

Yes! We will have an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception.

Dinner will be plated with options for different dietary needs. Please let us know any restrictions when you RSVP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to keep phones put away during the ceremony so everyone can be present. Feel free to take pictures during the reception!

While we won’t have a shuttle service, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area for guests who prefer not to drive.
