We truly believe God makes everything happen for a reason. On a sunny Sunday morning in September 2019, Vanessa reluctantly agreed to attend a fraternity brunch at Tap 42 in Boca Raton, keeping a promise to a friend. That same morning, Alec was excitedly heading to the very same brunch, looking forward to good food and time with friends. Across the table, Alec noticed someone he had never seen before. Her name was Vanessa. One conversation turned into exchanged numbers, a bold (and slightly exaggerated) High School Musical pickup line, and a picture that would become the very first of many. What began as a simple brunch quickly became the start of a beautiful love story. Years later, Alec confessed he wasn’t actually that into High School Musical after all but was happy and grateful that his creative pick up line worked. In true tribute to their love story, the two even visited the Disney school that inspired the start of something new (😉). As always, God works in mysterious, and sometimes very cute, ways.
