See below for updated information. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) with reception inside. Warm casual attire. Nothing too formal. Think fall layers - sweaters, jackets, and wraps. Examples: Ladies: Dresses with tights and ankle boots. Gents: Khakis or nice jeans with button-downs and sweaters. Dress for Nebraska autumn weather.
Your park pass will be covered if you don't already have one. 3 - 3:30 pm: Outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking the Missouri River. This is located outside the Main Lodge and Education Center. You can enter the double doors on the right when facing the Main Lodge. Walk down the hallway, and you should see doors taking you into a courtyard and to the ceremony location. 3:30 - 5 pm: Extended Cocktail Hour (& Wedding Photos) in the River Bluff, Sandbar and Library Rooms of the Main Lodge and Education Center. The Nebraska Husker game will be playing in the Library for the die-hard Husker fans Feel free to grab a drink, explore the park, and be in nature during this time as well. 5 - 6:30 pm: Dinner Reception (River Bluff & Sandbar Rooms) Mexican food catered by Mi Rancherita to celebrate The Day of the Dead and our love for Mexican food. Live Music from 5 - 8 pm 6:30 - 11:00 pm (?): Music & Mingling and maybe Misty as DJ. Alcohol serving ends at 10 PM per state park rules.
