Alec & Ciara met in high school when Alec played the trombone for Marching Band & Ciara was in Pageantry/Colorguard. They were friends for a while until he asked her to be his girlfriend their senior year by surprising her with chili cheese fries (her favorite food at the time). After they graduated, Alec made the decision to enlist in the Army. They continued their relationship & did long distance for months at a time in the span of about 5 years (2014-2019). They have gone through every phase of their lives together as a team & will continue to do so as they enter this new chapter.

Alec & Ciara attended a close friend's New Year's Eve party & had such a great time. To make the night even more amazing, Alec proposed to Ciara once the clock struck midnight. They were officially engaged a minute into the new year of 2024. He chose a good time to pop the question as some of her dearest friends were there to witness it. It's definitely a night they will never forget!
