FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alec Salutz and Shasta Boyd
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 3rd!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend mountain‑formal attire. Think elevated cocktail or semi‑formal outfits, but comfortable enough for walking on grass or uneven outdoor surfaces. The bridesmaids will be in stormy blue and the groomsman in charcoal/grey suits.

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes - our ceremony will be held outdoors with beautiful mountain views. The reception will be held at the same location and will be indoors/outdoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Utah weather can change quickly - expect warm days, cool evenings, and low humidity. We suggest layering, especially for outdoor festivities.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes - we kindly ask that you silence phones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love kids - but we also love giving parents a night off! If your invite names your little ones, bring them along. If not, enjoy an evening out just for you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have reserved seating according to the guest list. If your invite specifies a plus-one, you are welcome to bring a guest!

Question

Travel Questions?

Answer

Please refer to our travel page on this website.

Question

Do I need anything special if we plan for outdoor activities?

Answer

Sunscreen, layers, comfortable shoes, and a reusable water bottle. The Utah sun is strong even when temperatures feel mild.
