If you choose to come early or extend your trip, skiing in Colorado is some of the best. Monarch Mountain is the closest resort to Colorado Springs, at less than 2.5 hours away. The Rocky Mountains are home to some of the best resorts in the world, including our favorites like Vail, Beaver Creek, and Keystone. Keystone is about 2.5 hours away while Vail and Beaver Creek are 3.
