CHANGE OF WEDDING DATE!

Due to the unfortunate Pandemic, our wedding has been postponed. Our new wedding date is June 12, 2021 We hope everyone is staying healthy and being safe! See you in June <3

How We Met

First comes tacos

On the first date, being the true "chefs" they are, Alec and Rachel decided to impress each other with their cooking skills. With minimal cooking experience they headed to the grocery store to grab supplies for tacos and margs. While the cooking was less than impressive (including burnt cookies as a finishing touch) to either of them, the rest of the night was perfect. They drank margs, played exploding kittens (Rachel won, obviously) and laughed to impractical jokers. From that date on their relationship grew, as well as their cooking skills.

How He Proposed

Then Comes Marriage

Alec and Rachel were gearing up to leave for a week trip to California. Our flight was a weekday afternoon, so we both had a half day at work. Alec got home a little earlier to meet his mom and decorate for a great proposal. They stopped at the flower shop to pick up a bunch of flowers and candles...they had hours to get ready....until Rachel called 20 minutes later and said she was on her way home. They were scrambling. Alec bought some time by telling Rachel to pickup Chipotle on her way home ( he wasn't even hungry). He and his mom lit the candles and got the flowers ready. They locked Shredder in a room since she was all too tempted to roll around in the fire. The next few moments would define their whole lives... Alec's mom snuck out the back and Rachel came walking in. She was met by Alec who was on one knee surrounded by flower petals all over the floor and a large heart-shaped candle arrangement. She walked in and her first reaction was "WOW, Shredder made a mess!" She finally realized Alec was kneeling there, shaking out of anxiousness. He practiced in his head "I love you and always have...will you marry me?" However, all that came out was "will you eat Arby crispy fish flatbreads with me for the rest of our lives?" Finally, a perfect match.
