we're getting married

Our story began in 2014 with us meeting in the first year of college through mutual friends. In the winter months of 2017-2018, God decided to bring us together once again, but this time, it was for something more than just friendship. We soon learned that we had a lot in common. We share a love for Star Wars, LOTR, and exploring new eateries to name a few. Soon, silly messages on Snapchat led to daily text messages and long phone conversations. Then one day, a serendipitous encounter at a coffee shop sparked a realization that we could no longer ignore: we were meant for more than friendship. With hearts racing, we confessed our feelings, transforming our beautiful friendship into a romantic partnership. We believe God works in mysterious ways and has a bit of humor. In fact, months into our relationship, we made a discovery that we both actually have known in each other since we were toddlers because both of our uncles were best friends when they were in their early 20s. So Alec and I were playmates as toddlers! We like to believe that somewhere in this world, there is a picture of both of us playing in one of our old childhood backyards. Now 7 years together, we prepare to embark on this new chapter as partners for life, and we cherish the journey that brought us here. Our story is just beginning, and we can't wait to share our love with you as we say, "I do."
