Things To Eat

Ekiben

801 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

Our favorite place to eat in Baltimore. We usually get the Neighborhood bird (Molly gets mild, Alec spicy). but they also have great vegetarian options. There are 3 locations(all take-out only), the closest to the hotel/venue is the South Baltimore location.

Di Pasquale's

3700 Toone St, Baltimore, MD 21224

Supplier for the famous New Year's sub tray at the Brown House. Our favorite subs are the Italian and the meatball. The main location is in Brewers Hill but there is a closer location at Harborview.

THB Bagelry & Deli

1602 Whetstone Way, Baltimore, MD 21230

THB (Towson Hot Bagels) has a new location near the hotel! Great place to grab a bagel & coffee. Local favorite from Molly's hometown!

Chaps Pit Beef

720 Mapleton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21205

Don't let the location (sandwiched between a strip club and the highway) fool you, this place is a Baltimore staple.

The Charmery

801 W 36th St, Baltimore, MD 21211

Our favorite ice cream place in Baltimore. They have a mixture of classic and weird (Old Bay Caramel) flavors. The main location is located in Hampden, a nice neighborhood to walk around and do some shopping (one of Ekiben's locations is also here). Another great option is to get BMORE LICKS and check out the pagoda at Patterson Park.

Ice Queens Snoball Shop

1648 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

Sno-balls are a shaved ice invented in Baltimore (enough of your propoganda, New Orleans!) Although this place is "New Orleans style", and a little bougie, it does hit the spot on a hot Baltimore day or after a trip to Fort McHenry. For a more traditional Maryland sno-ball, our favorite is B & B in Ferndale(Try an egg custard with marshmallow topping).

Ledo Pizza

913 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

The controversial "Maryland style" pizza chain that "never cuts corners". Ledo's is commonly ordered for rec league banquets and at the Loudermilk household, though don't expect a traditional New York slice.

Nick's Fish House

2600 Insulator Dr, Baltimore, MD 21230

Great place to sit on the outside patio overlooking the Patapsco River and enjoy all things crab. The crab pretzel is our favorite, but they also have steamed crabs and crab cakes.

Jimmy's Famous Seafood

6526 Holabird Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224

Knock out everything Maryland at one place: Steamed crabs, crab cakes, orange crushes and Smith Island cake. Maybe even crush a few Bohs while watching the Ravens beat the Texans on Sunday afternoon.

Royal Farms

1440 Key Hwy E, Baltimore, MD 21230

Known as RoFo to native Marylanders, this convenience store was named "the best fast food fried chicken" (no need to mention the gas station qualifier) per Food & Wine. There are hundreds of locations in the Mid-Atlantic and 1 located directly between the hotel and venue. Outside of fried chicken this is a good place to stock up on Maryland cookies: Alec prefers Otterbein's while Molly loves Berger cookies (though the Harris Teeter nearby may also stock them)
