Brittany has been Melissas best friend since they were 14 & 15 years old. Growing all through life together Brittany has been there with open arms through Melissas toughest moments. Brittany and Melissa consider each other unofficial sisters. Melissa made the decision to give her son Myles the middle name of Lourde - an ode to Brittany. PS: If you happen to hear the song "Ribs" by Lourde playing, just know that is dedicated to Brittany from Melissa.
Richard Larkins
Best Man
Richard and Alec became friends as most men do, through their significant others. However, it quickly went from Brittany and Melissa coming up with the plans, to Richard and Alec coming up with the plans. Alec began involving him in Dungeons and Dragons nights, as well as bringing Richard to family events. Just two friends, bonding over what others would consider nerdy. Richard, standing in at 6ft 7in, quickly took over the spot of Alecs best friend.
Summer Naugle

Summer and Melissa met in 2015 through a mutual friend and quickly formed a bond that was built to last. They have some of the funniest moments together, from Walmart humor to memories at Summers first apartment (that Melissa walked to EVERYDAY) that caused their friendship blossomed. After Melissa had her son and had to walk again, she specifically asked the nurse to wait until Summer (a licensed Paramedic) to get there so she could witness and help Melissa if needed. PS: If you hear "Best Friend" by Young Thug, just know this song was dedicated to Summer from Melissa.
Ryan Sherrod

Alec and Ryan are brothers, Alecs favorite brother. Ryan and Alec have both been there for each other during their hardest moments, but have also been there during the best moments. Ryan has always been someone Alec has looked up to and wanted to be just like. Their bond is an unbreakable brotherhood that continues to blossom.
Annie Holler

Annie and Melissa met in 2014 through Brittany, at first they became acquaintances, but with time their friendship grew into a sisterhood. Annie and Melissa share many wonderful experiences together, from Annie teaching Melissa how to drive (Until her Saturn Ion ran out of power steering fluid) to Annies senior prom in 2016. Melissa and Annie have always been able to pick their friendship up right where they have left off during periods of hiatus. Melissa is extremely grateful to have a friend like Annie and that Myles has a wonderful aunt. PS: If you hear the song "Always" by Blink-182, know this was dedicated to Annie from Melissa.
Austin Dixon

Austin and Alec started off as just neighbors, but as we all know, a move can change the course of your life. Their kids all began hanging out, which forced Austin and Alec to talk, quickly they discovered they have many common interests, ranging from Kill Tony to firearms. Over the course of life, a baby, and a few moves, their communication slowly started to seize. However, they were able to pick right back up after drifting apart. Austin is one of Alecs closest friends.
Aubree Harn

Melissa came into Aubrees life in 2023. Over the course of the last (almost) 3 years Aubree and Melissa have built a beautiful bond. Coming into Aubrees life was very scary for Melissa as she has never had any sort of interaction with kids, however, Melissa knew one thing, she didn't want to replace her mom, she wanted to give off "Cool aunt/step mom" vibes. Overtime and hurdles they have become best friends and have little things they do together (like the nightly polar pop run..). PS: If you hear the song "Hot To Go" by Chappell Roan, just know this is a favorite of theirs and dedicated to Aubree from Melissa.
Ryan Harn

Ryan is Alec's first son. Ryan showed Alec how to be a dad to a boy and continues to bring light and joy into Alec's life. Ryan and Alec share a special bond over their love of video games, scary movies, and hot wings. Alec is incredibly grateful to be Ryans father and loves every moment they share together.
Joey Lucchese

Joey (Joe) is Melissas cousin, Melissa and Joey have quite a bit of an age gap, so growing up they hardly ever did anything together. When Melissa was pregnant with her son, Joey was an absolutely amazing support person, reminding her she was going to be a good parent. When Alec and Melissa were faced with choosing an officiant, it was very clear who they wanted to choose. The family member that has been supportive since day 1. We are extremely grateful for Joey and his family.
