In September 2021, Lydia had recently moved to Philly to begin her PM&R residency. One night, while on a 24-hour shift, she swiped right on Alec’s Bumble profile. Little did she know Alec had just expanded his age range up to 30. It was fate. Their first date was ice cream. Lydia was initially concerned by the red flag that Alec only ate half his ice cream; however, after a trip to the Mutter Museum, a historical medical library, Alec had redeemed himself. Quickly their favorite activity became long walks to find the best treats Philly has to offer! Nearly three years later, Alec proposed (at 5:30 AM) on an empty beach in Ventnor, NJ. We are so excited to celebrate with our family and close friends and to show you our favorite city!
