we’re getting married!

It all started in 2019 with a single Instagram follow. Alec stumbled across a photo his high school friend Liana had posted—a picture of her and her nursing school friend, Kirstin, at a country concert. He followed her, and when Kirstin noticed, Liana encouraged her to follow him back, assuring her that Alec was genuinely one of the funniest guys she knew. Not too long after, Alec sent the message that started it all: a compliment on her western cowgirl boots. From that first conversation, everything just clicked. Messages turned into daily conversations, and daily conversations quickly turned into something more. Naturally, our first date was at a line dancing bar—boots, music, nerves, and all. A country concert date followed soon after, and on November 2, 2019, we officially became a couple. Over the years, our love grew through countless country concerts, shared adventures, and the journey of us both getting through nursing school. We built a life filled with just the right mix of laughter, support, fun, and love. Then, on July 13th, 2024—almost 5 years after that first Instagram message—Alec got down on one knee and asked Kirstin to be his forever. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all the people who mean the most to us.
