We met in February of 2023 through a mutual friend's game night. I (Jenna) was curious about Alec when I first saw him, though we never spoke. By the time the next game night came around, I found myself disappointed by his absence. As months went by, he was still in the back of my mind, and I would look for him each time our friends planned another get-together. I eventually brushed my curiosities aside and became convinced I would never see him again. Right as I started to believe this, Alec returned! While we had known of each other for over a year, it took some time to become friends. I had no plans in my life to one day get married (ask literally anyone in my family), but since getting to know Alec, I re-evaluated what the Bible says about marriage and realized just how askew my mindset was. A pivotal point in our relationship was in October of 2024, when we were supposed to meet with our friends at Szalay's Farm and Market. Our friends were late, so we spent the first twenty minutes or so getting to know each other. By the end of November the next month, he took the initiative to ask my thoughts about us dating, and we had our first date at Chick-Fil-A. Many hangouts and conversations later, here we are!
