Hannah and Alec both went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, but despite both being in the College of Agriculture, that isn’t where their story started. They met on Hinge post graduation, with Hannah being drawn to the iconic combination of Dungeons and Dragons and lumberjack-esque photos, and Alec was hooked by her ability to scale medium sized boulders in scenic locations. They had their first date on May 22, 2022 at the Worker Bee Cafe in Carpinteria, California - conveniently halfway between Santa Barbara and Santa Paula, and the rest is history. In 2023, they both moved into their home on Alec’s family’s avocado orchard in Santa Paula where they live with their two entirely spoiled cats. On May 22, 2025, while on a hike in Big Sur for their third anniversary, Alec popped the question in front of a beautiful waterfall.
