Welcome to our Wedding FAQ! We've compiled a list of common questions to make your experience as seamless as possible. Whether you're curious about the dress code, parking details, or other important info, you'll find all the answers right here. If you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to reach out. We're thrilled to share this special day with you!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The welcome dinner is all about relaxation and mingling! Feel free to keep it casual and comfortable. Jeans, sundresses, or smart-casual outfits are totally in. For the wedding ceremony and reception, we kindly request that guests adhere to a cocktail attire dress code. This entails gentlemen wearing suits or blazers, and ladies donning elegant dresses or dressy separates. As a unique touch, we invite guests to incorporate shades of blue into their attire to celebrate our unique venue. This could manifest in subtle accessories, ties, scarves, or more pronounced elements like dresses and suits in varying tones of blue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony on Saturday?

Answer

We recommend being in the venue at 5:45 as the ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Please keep in mind if you are parking a car, the lots will require time to walk to the venue. Guests that arrive after 6:00 may join us for cocktail hour at 6:30.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be inside the aquarium. The A/C can run strong, so if you get cold easily you may want to bring a jacket. The reception (assuming good weather), will be held outside on the rooftop of the aquarium. The average temperature range in Tampa during October is 70-85 degrees.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony is already planned to be inside. If the weather does not allow us to be outside for the reception, our rain plan will have us inside the aquarium for the reception as well.

Question

Are there any hotel blocks reserved for your wedding?

Answer

Yes! To find information about hotel accommodations and any reserved blocks for our wedding guests, please visit the "Travel" tab on our wedding website. There, you'll find details about recommended hotels, special rates, and booking instructions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love the kiddos, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only affair. We hope you understand that this decision was made due to a limited guest count upheld by the venue itself. We kindly request that only guests aged 18 and above attend the ceremony and reception. We understand that this might pose a challenge for some, and we appreciate your understanding and support.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love for you to share this joyous occasion with someone special. To ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably, we have extended plus ones to certain guests. If you have received an invitation indicating a plus one, please feel free to bring a date. We hope you understand our efforts to make the celebration as intimate and memorable as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. We're looking forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Certainly! We understand the importance of convenient parking for our guests. All of our venues provide free parking for attendees. Please note that the Welcome Dinner at Coppertail Brewing has a more limited parking lot. If you have any specific questions about the parking arrangements or need further assistance, feel free to let us know.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, drinks on us! There will be an open bar that includes liquor, beer, and wine. There will also be non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails available.
